Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute multi-step organic synthesis and optimize reaction conditions.
• Interpret analytical data, including NMR, LC-MS, HPLC and IR, and propose structural assignments.
• Maintain clear and accurate records in ELN/lab notebooks according to data-integrity guidelines.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables according to client expectations.
• Collaborate with the team and communicate daily progress to the supervisor or project manager.
• Handle moisture-sensitive, air-sensitive and scale-up reactions when required.
• Follow laboratory safety protocols and SOPs and ensure proper use of PPE.
• Troubleshoot and purify compounds using column chromatography, preparative HPLC and crystallization.
• Ensure timely submission of analytical results, reports and weekly updates.
• Support procurement, inventory management and coordination with analytical teams.
