6.0 Procedure
6.1 Precautions

Wear appropriate PPE before starting.

Ensure power supply to the equipment is switched off and locked out.
6.2 Type of Cleaning
A. Batch-to-Batch Cleaning (Same Product)

Switch off the power supply.

Open the lid of the sifter and remove the screen carefully.

Clean the screen with a dry nylon brush.
-
Wipe the inside of the sifter body and lid with a dry lint-free cloth.

Inspect for any residue or foreign material.

Reassemble the equipment and affix the “Cleaned” status label.
B. Product Changeover / Deep Cleaning

Switch off and lock out the power supply.

Dismantle all detachable parts: lid, screen, ring, gaskets, etc.

Clean each part separately using a nylon brush and approved cleaning agent.

Rinse thoroughly with purified water.

If required, disinfect with an approved disinfectant.

Dry all parts completely using lint-free cloth or air dry.

Wipe the sifter body (interior & exterior) with cleaning agent, rinse, and dry.

Inspect all parts for cleanliness and wear.
