Site Acceptance Test (SAT)

The Site Acceptance Test (SAT) is the final phase of equipment/system qualification, conducted at the customer’s site after installation and commissioning. It verifies that the system, machine, or equipment functions correctly in the actual working environment and meets the agreed specifications.

Key Aspects of SAT:

• Conducted after Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and installation.

• Ensures integration of equipment with utilities, environment, and existing systems.

• Confirms performance, safety, and compliance under site conditions.

• Includes checks for IQ, OQ, PQ readiness in regulated industries.

• Documentation of test protocols, deviations, and acceptance criteria.

Purpose:

• To provide assurance that the equipment/system is fully functional, safe, and ready for operational use at the customer’s site.
